This high quality Hit and Miss Windproof fence panel is handmade in the UK by S T Fencing, using pressure treated rough sawn timber.
The style of fencing has a few advantages, the first is that the design allows wind to pass through the panels rather than blow against them like it would on most other styles styles, making it the perfect choice if you live in a particularly windy area.
The second advantage is they are double sided, which means they look exactly the same on both sides, great to be fitted in between properties where both sides of the fencing will be exposed.
Thirdly most of our competitors use 100 mm wide boards which you can see through at certain angles, our 125 mm boards create a greater overlap covering the gap between the front and back boards resulting in greater privacy.
The panels are made using quality, pressure treated, timber, which involves vacuuming high quality preservatives into the fibres of the timber and is completed at an FSC registered saw mill, this creates long lasting timber that is low in maintenance. Click here to find out more.
These panels can be slotted into concrete posts that have a 50 mm recess or they can be attached to wooden posts simply by screwing through the back rails.
Matching gates can also be purchased here to complete your look.
These panels are made from 125 mm x 12 mm boards and are nailed onto back rails.
- The Depth of these panels are just under 5 cm at each side which allows them to slide easily into concrete posts with a recess of 5 cm.
- The Width of these panels is 6 ft (1829 mm)
- The Gap between the boards is approx 2.5″ (approx 63 mm)
We can manufacture these items in our factory to any size up to 6 ft (1829 mm) wide by 6 ft high (approx).
To order a bespoke size please select the ‘Bespoke size’ option in the drop down options list above. Then in the comments box in your basket at the end of your order please state the exact measurements required (w x h).
As wood expands and contracts the size on receipt may be slightly different to the size required. Please take this into consideration when giving us your measurements.
As we manufacture to your requirements we are unable to accept any returns of bespoke made products.
The timber will be a brown / natural wood colour upon arrival but may turn a silver / grey colour overtime due to weathering. If you would prefer a different colour, you can use any wood care or fence paint to reach your desired choice.
Due to our timber being pressure treated, no maintenance is required, however should you wish to prolong the appearance of your wood there are various treatments available in most diy / hardware stores.

All our fence panels are made to order and we will continue to do our best to get your items manufactured and dispatched in the quickest time possible. Current lead times are up to 12 weeks.
Once your order has been processed and your items have been made you will receive more details (usually via email) about your delivery including the date your items will be with you and who will be delivering the goods.
Due to our carriers insurance, delivery can only be made to kerbside.
